Stacy Lynne Zabriskie was born in California, the middle child of three girls. She grew up in the Van Nuys area, where going to the beach and Disneyland were a regular part of her childhood. At the age of nine, her family moved to Bountiful, Utah. This is where she found home.

She first met her husband Craig Zabriskie, while attending Junior High School.  Their relationship consisted of smiling to eachother in the hallways followed by a silly giggle. Craig was officially her very first crush. The old saying of "butterflies in the stomach" proved itself to be true.

It was not until high school when her and Craig officially started dating. Their relationship grew to be something along the lines of puppy love.  As the ups and downs of teenage years approached, they undoubtedly became best friends.  Their friendship carried them through some very extraordinary years, and it was only natural for Lynne to marry her best friend and very first love.

After high school Lynne worked at a local hospital as a secretary and supported Craig through his collage studies.  They continued their lives together, building a family, a home and a successful mortgage company for Craig.  Lynne devoted her life to being a mother and a wife.  Creating wonderful and fun-filled memories.

After Craig's accident, Lynne and her family began to speak to youth groups, financial institutes, insurance companies, etc. about their amazing experience.  These speaking engagements are what eventually lead to the writing of THE LOST SEASON. Lynne has always had a passion for writing and has never known a time when she wasn't reading.

Craig and Lynne have been married almost 30 years and have made their home in Centerville, Utah.  They have raised two beautiful daughters, who are now grown and both married. Craig and Lynne's family has expanded to where they now enjoy their grandson and granddaughter to the fullest.

Though Lynne and Craig have had their share of adversity, they are very happy and content with the simple pleasures of everyday life.  They have chosen, and continue today to "NEVER GIVE UP".
