Patience 09/03/2009

This has been quite an adventurous summer.  We went to Alaska to visit my daughter and her family.  This is a picture of our King Salmon my son in law caught.  We were on a boat for 6 hours and at the "last chance" spot we finally got something.  Our guide informed us that King Salmon fishing is for the patient people.  Patience is something I have learned from my accident.  Those around me have learned to be patient with my disability and I am very grateful for that.  Patience is something that can be practiced over and over.  If you feel impatient, just take a deep breath and practice patience.  Eventually you wont have to work so hard at it, it will become a part of who you are.

I am so impressed with the both of you. You have gone through so much. And still so close. I admire that. Hubert and I are looking forward to getting to know you better. I am so glad I have been able to read your book. Thanks... I too will never give up.

Wow what a neat trip. I really like how you looked at that experience and played into it patience and how you have had to learn that over the years. Life isn't easy and you have to practice these mental skills you have developed like patience etc. That is very impressive you have been able to achieve what you have in life. Very inspiring. Thanks you for sharing!

Loved this post! Patience is something I don't naturally have, but I agree that it is possible by taking the time to train yourself to be that way. Thanks for sharing!

Haven't seen you guys for a long time...hope you are doing great!
